TPDT Mission Statement
Our mission is to win souls for CHRIST; bringing people to JESUS CHRIST so they can become members of
the Body of CHRIST. Our goal is to build, rebuild, and strengthen individual lives, the family, and community
morally, economically, and spiritually; serve as disciples of JESUS CHRIST by
inviting, embracing, nurturing, encouraging, and involving all peoples of the global community to know
GOD through JESUS CHRIST and the power of the HOLY SPIRIT; to be a body of believers in JESUS CHRIST
who are devoted to Love GOD, Love One Another, Love Ones Self, and making Disciples. We endeavor to
be a HOLY people, eagerly live in love and unity, earnestly share the gospel with all, establish believers in
the WORD, equip believers for service, and encourage believers in ministry. We seek to accomplish our
mission and goals based upon the scriptures of the HOLY BIBLE (King James Version). We are
commissioned in Luke 4:18-19 "The SPIRIT of the LORD is upon me, because he hath anointed me to
preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the
acceptable year of the LORD"; and Mark 16:15 "...go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every
creature". We will provide a solid Christian teaching in a nurturing environment directed by spiritually
inspired, GODly-teachers, promoting physical, social, and spiritual growth. Our desire is to educate youth
and adults to fulfill the biblical admonition found in 2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto
GOD, a workman that needeth not to be
ashamed, rightly diving the word of truth".

Statement of Faith We believe . . .

the HOLY BIBLE is the inspired Word of GOD. II Timothy 3:15,16, I Peter 2:2
in one GOD, the maker of all things and being in the Trinity of the FATHER,

SON, and

HOLY SPIRIT.

Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18, Luke 26:35

all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD and are in need of

salvation.

Salvation has been provided through the shed blood of JESUS

CHRIST for all people.

in water baptism and the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT. Matthew 28:19,

in the observance of the LORD'S Supper. Luke 22:15-20
